HOW TO WEAR ATTENTION GRABBING RUFFLES EVEN IF YOU'RE SHY

One of the hottest trends for SS17 was ruffles. Many women tend to steer clear of this style as they have difficulty finding the right ruffles to flatter them.  The great thing about the ruffle trend is that it isn’t going anywhere anytime soon and it has been just as big for AW2017/18 and will no doubt continue to grab centre stage through Spring/Summer 2018 too. If you don’t feel confident enough to wear ruffled clothing – fret not as ruffles have crossed over into accessories territory as well. From earrings to shoes you’re sure to find something that suits your style.

One of my favourite shoes are these beauties from Emma Cook. Like seriously how gorgeous are they? Don’t you just love it when you find things in your wardrobe from the past that work so well in the present? I’ve had them for a while and they have worn well - the added bonus is that they fit seamlessly into the ruffle trend. Another good thing about them is that they can be worn dressed up - with a pencil skirt or dressed down-. On this particular day I opted to dress them down with a pair of faux leather shorts and a plain white shirt.
