Whenever I think of leopard print the first thing that comes to mind is Bet Lynch. For my U.K. readers she probably needs no introduction, but for those of you who don’t know let me introduce you. Bet Lynch was a fictional soap character played by Julie Goodyear. She was the larger than life landlady of the Rovers Return Pub on Coronation Street and she was always dressed in leopard print. In fact I don’t remember her wearing anything else.

Animal print always returns season after season especially leopard print. To be perfectly honest I feel like this season we are drowning in leopard print more than any of the other animal prints available. Leopard print can be quite tricky to get right, that is the main reason why I don’t wear it apart from that one time I wore pink leopard print here or when I wore a leopard print belt here. I always think that this print looks good on everyone else except me. I’m a firm believer that there’s a thin line between trendy and tacky when it comes to animal prints.

Apart from leopard there is also snake print. In fact you can’t go wrong with any type of animal print this season. If like me the thought of channelling Bet Lynch in head to toe leopard print brings you out in a cold sweat, then fret not. As this blog is about accessories I have some of the best high and low pieces currently available that will introduce animal prints into your wardrobe in small doses.

What are your thoughts on leopard print? Have you always been an animal print lover? Which animal print is your favourite? Or are you over the animal print trend? Let me know in the comments below. Thank you for stopping by.
